Then when you are there, your whole attitude changes. Then when you run into people that have hurt you, you want to forgive, but have problems fully doing so. Humans have a difficult time of fully forgiving, however, God does fully forgive, through Jesus.

I use to think that God sending Jesus down to earth, was a plan B. However, I was wrong on this. Jesus is the Word. The Word is mentioned right from the start in Genesis. God had this plan from the start. From the beginning. There is much we do not understand, but hopefully sometime we will.

Now to jump around. Here I dread going to one Church, but so much look forward to another. I really look forward to Trinity and Hosanna. My family and I are searching for a new home Church. Now, for me, I will put my membership in at Trinity, so I can re-apply for Deacon through our synod. However, the rest of the family is still searching. My wife has been doing the initial visits and reporting back. Some have been good, other not so. She recently went to a Church of about 500, that was really crammed for space. Members did not greet her when she came in. The Church had only one Cross that she could see. I have had a past Pastor who use to say “If a Church has no cross, you have to wonder what they worship?”

Had advent supper and service today. It was a really nice time to be greeted by so many people and so openly. Pastor spoke of loving our neighbor. Who is our neighbor? Just the person next door? Just the person next door you want to talk to? When you love your neighbor, it is everyone. In passing, when you ask someone next time, how are you? When they respond “Good”, “Great”, “OK” or something else, how about you show a real love for them and ask them. So, what is going on today to make you feel “their response”. This will start a conversation that will let them know you really do care, and not just ships passing in the night.

Tis the season to care and love one another as we would love Jesus.

Peace and blessings.

Well, you know it is time to leave a church, when you get your stomach all in knots, just thinking about going there.
