{"id":1508,"date":"2016-03-27T00:05:22","date_gmt":"2016-03-27T05:05:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.messy-spirituality.com\/wordpress\/?p=1508"},"modified":"2016-03-25T09:51:12","modified_gmt":"2016-03-25T14:51:12","slug":"easter-message","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.messy-spirituality.com\/wordpress\/2016\/03\/27\/easter-message\/","title":{"rendered":"Easter Message"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Easter is a special time of the year.\u00a0 I use to put the emphasis on Christmas, and yes I realize that there is no Easter without Christmas, however Easter is the ALL of the Christian message.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Easter is what God does for us out of God\u2019s love for us.\u00a0 Easter is the God in flesh who shows us that death is defeated for the sake of humankind and all of creation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Easter is the renewal of everything that God created, which by the way is everything.\u00a0 I am honored and humbled to be the pastor at Calvary Lutheran Church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">My response always attempts to be one out of love, responding to the incomprehensible love that God shows to me, despite me for the sake of you and me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our God is an awesome God, whose face shines upon us in the form of Jesus Christ, just like a like on the mountain top guiding the way for all of creation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, Christ is risen!!!!<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0 AMEN<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Pastor Doug<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Easter is a special time of the year.\u00a0 I use to put the emphasis on Christmas, and yes I realize that there is no Easter without Christmas, however Easter is the ALL of the Christian message.
