\"Traveling<\/a>1 Corinthians 15:42-49 (VOICE) The Voice Bible<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

42\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>It\u2019s like this with the resurrection of those who have died. The body planted in the earth decays. But the body raised from the earth cannot decay.\u00a043\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The body is planted in disgrace and weakness. But the body is raised in splendor and power.44\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The body planted\u00a0in the earth<\/em>\u00a0was animated by the physical, material realm. But the body raised\u00a0from the earth<\/em>\u00a0will be animated by the spiritual. Since there is a physical, material body, there will also be a spiritual body.\u00a045\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>That\u2019s why it was written, \u201cThe first man Adam became a living soul\u201d; the last Adam has become a life-giving spirit.46\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Everything has an order.<\/em>\u00a0The body is not animated first by the spiritual but the physical; then the spiritual\u00a0becomes its life-giving source<\/em>.\u00a047\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The first man,\u00a0Adam,<\/em>came from the earth and was made from dust; the second man,\u00a0Jesus,<\/em>\u00a0has come from heaven.\u00a048\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The earth man shares his earth nature with all those made of earth; likewise the heavenly man shares His heavenly nature with all those made of heaven.49\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Just as we have carried the image of the earth man in our bodies, we will[<\/sup>i<\/sup><\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0also carry the image of the heavenly man\u00a0in our new bodies at the resurrection<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/sup>13\u00a0<\/sup>Let no one say when he is tempted, \u201cI am tempted by God\u201d; for God cannot be tempted with evil and he himself tempts no one; 14\u00a0<\/sup>but each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. 15\u00a0<\/sup>Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin; and sin when it is full-grown brings forth death.<\/p>\n
