So much has been happening, thus the reason I use tonight, for my lack of postings. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Well, it is true, much has been happening, and it is hard to keep my focus on what really matters. With the economy appearing to be such a mess, business failing and homes being foreclosed on, what do we do and where do we go?<\/p>\n
My wife and I have talked about what if………<\/p>\n
If we were to loose our house, what if
Where do we go?
What do we do next?<\/p>\n
I have been praying for some time and looking for an answer to what God has in mind for me, with regards to the Church. If the business I am fails, and I loose my house, that will send a real clear message. But, you know it is never that clear, now is it?<\/p>\n
Looks like I will get some attempts at preaching again, soon. My pastor has said he wants me to be able to preach, and we are looking at setting up some dates. Is this what God is calling me to do as a Lay person, or is this preparation for Seminary?<\/p>\n
Discernment has never been one of my high gifts, but when I took a gifts survey recently, I noticed that it has been gaining ground on the other gifts, while not detracting from the others. I guess when I know if I am to go to Seminary or not, will be about the time I score really high on discernment.<\/p>\n
My son has had his ups and downs since being in the hospital. I try to remember that it is his conditions, not really how he feels that determines where he goes and how he treats me. With all the things that Travis has gone through, could be preparation for the future.<\/p>\n
Right now, I am going to head to bed, it has been a late day for me. I like to be in bed by 8:30 am, so I can get up, but I must go now, and do a little sleeping in….at least this is what I see with my discernment skills at this time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
