The more changes I see, the more I want to see. Change so often is looked upon as something awful or even evil. However, there is a time for everything. What changes have you seen in yourself this past year? What changes have come about as you turn things over to God? In God’s Kingdom, there is a time to be born and born again. In what way? Our old self is always thinking about, “what’s in it for me?” to the new creation that Jesus calls us to think about others first. What does it mean to turn from being inward to outward? We are seeing some great examples here at Trinity and I look forward to more. The Church is not to here to serve us, but to reach out and to serve those outside of the four walls of the church. Some may not have caught the subtleness of Church vs. church. We are the Church, the body of Christ, to serve those outside of the Church, which tend to be outside of the building we call the church. How do we do this? We look for the times to change our community and go out and serve. This could be scattering the stones, inviting others to come to worship. So we can then gather the stones when they come to visit.
Some things to think about until next month:
How can God use me for change in this church and in the world?
1)
2)
3)

As we move from Spring time to Summer, I recalled these verses:Ecclesiastes 3:1-7 –A Time for Everything3 There is a time for everything,and a season for every activity under the heavens:2 a time to be born and a time to die,a time to plant and a time to uproot,3 a time to kill and a … [Read more…]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[1

0":"entry","1":"post","2":"publish","3":"author-admin","4":"post-22","6":"format-standard","7":"category-uncategorized
As some of you may know, my wife took a new job so that she could move out to Dubuque and be with our family. She has been working at the company for three weeks now. However on Monday she received notice that she was being laid off for one…
https://i0.wp.com/www.boxfont.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/footprints-in-sand1.jpg?resize=350%2C200
                He has risen!
