Games are something that we play to have fun, or to have a challenge. Some games are very simple, while others can be complex. Normally what makes a game complex, is the application of rules. There is a game however greater than Clue, or Operation or any of the games that man has created. God’s game of Life was designed by him for us. God has given us the rules, and they are simple. As Jesus said in Matthew 22:36-40, Love God with all of your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. God’s game has been on for a very long time.<\/p>\n
We love to change the rules, and sometimes the game as well. In Genesis 2:16-17, God told man, eat of any tree, but not from the tree of knowledge. Woman, however, committed the first sin. She did this, by not following the rules set forth by God.<\/p>\n
However, when man ate from the tree of knowledge, not only did he break the rules, but he changed the game on God. Another game was started, and the old one was tossed to the side. Adam and Eve now were playing Hide and Go seek, Genesis 3:8-9. Not a good choice however when playing with God as the seeker. God knows and sees all. So, now you know the first recorded game ever to be played. <\/p>\n
What game are you playing? The one that God started, or maybe Adam’s, or could it be another.<\/p>\n
1) Do you play hide and seek with God?
2) Do you wear a mask and make others guess who you really are?
3) Do you take your mask off in front of God, so you can play his game?<\/p>\n
Let’s all try to remove our masks. Come out, Come Out from wherever you are. Our God wants to see us, our true selves and loves us just as we are.<\/p>\n
