Some of you may know, I am on internship now. \u00a0 Although I do not believe that the load is anyway too much, in fact it is light right now, but I manage to become still, that person distracted by shiny objects and \u00a0such find ways to be busy. \u00a0When this happens, I fail at putting Jesus first.<\/p>\n

I have tried to make a practice and I realize that it takes at least 30 days to make a habit, but it is always something else that prevents me from getting into the sanctuary and spending just 15 minutes of time being in prayer and meditation. \u00a0Sometimes other things come up first but I need to make time then afterwards.<\/p>\n

Yes, intentionally making time. \u00a0When I do, I find it so much more relaxing throughout the day. \u00a0I find clarity in my day. \u00a0Fortunately, as I preached last Sunday, God keeps coming to me, asking me to be with God. \u00a0At the same time, I feel awful not making the time, not doing what I preached. \u00a0On the other hand, I do try and I must hold solace in the fact that God’s love and grace are abundant enough despite my failures.<\/p>\n

God, I ask in the name of your Son, that you forgive my selfishness and keep reaching for me. \u00a0I also ask this for all of those that experience the same that I do and want to change themselves for your sake. \u00a0I trust that all can be accomplished by You, through the Son and Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n
