{"id":903,"date":"2014-04-17T20:44:05","date_gmt":"2014-04-18T01:44:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.messy-spirituality.com\/wordpress\/?p=903"},"modified":"2014-04-17T20:44:05","modified_gmt":"2014-04-18T01:44:05","slug":"silence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.messy-spirituality.com\/wordpress\/2014\/04\/17\/silence\/","title":{"rendered":"Silence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jesus of Nazareth has been taken from us! \u00a0We just broke bread together and shared in drink. \u00a0Now He has been betrayed and taken away. \u00a0We are scattered and scared, not knowing what will come of this.<\/p>\n<p>We are in silence, in hiding for our own fear of what will happen next. \u00a0Will they punish Jesus? \u00a0What will happen if they catch us? \u00a0Will they flog Jesus or worse yet, crucify him?<\/p>\n<p>We sit in silence, not knowing what to do. \u00a0We sit in silence, unbelieving that this could happen. \u00a0But didn&#8217;t Jesus tell us that He would be betrayed? \u00a0Still, silent, afraid, bewildered&#8230;&#8230;what next?<\/p>\n<p>The altar has been stripped.<br \/>\nWe leave in silence, contemplating what all this means.<br \/>\nBe still and know that I am your God.<br \/>\nHear me in the silence, I am the Lord your God.<br \/>\nTrust in the Lord your God.<br \/>\nBe still.<\/p>\n<h1>SILENCE<\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jesus of Nazareth has been taken from us! \u00a0We just broke bread together and shared in drink. \u00a0Now He has been betrayed and taken away. \u00a0We are scattered and scared, not knowing what will come of this.
