He was taken from us, why did this happen!?
God, Jesus said He was Your Son. If that were so, then why did You let Him die? Why God, why have you forsaken Your Son? If Him, then what about us?
Jesus, King of the Jews, Son of man, Son of the living God, has been nailed to a tree. He has been beaten. He has been CRUCIFIED! Why God, Why have you forsaken Your Son? Why did you let them do it?
Jesus is dead…..dead upon a cross. Crucified between two criminals and buried in a borrowed grave. Is there hope? Hope in what? Why did all this have to happen?
We do have died. We have died in the death of Jesus, Son of God. Our death in Jesus, is that our hope? Please, O God of compassion, show us that there is hope in death!
